The cardigan is made from 89% alpaca and 11% recycled polyamide. The high alpaca content gives the material a pleasantly soft, slightly fluffy feel while providing natural warmth. At the same time, alpaca wool is naturally temperature-regulating and comparatively lightweight. The recycled polyamide adds stability to the knitted fabric and helps the cardigan retain its shape for longer.
The deep V-neckline, wide ribbed button placket and three colour-coordinated buttons define the cardigan’s timeless appearance. Two generously sized patch pockets provide space for small essentials while enhancing its relaxed look. Ribbed cuffs and hem, together with the slightly dropped shoulders, complete the casual fit.
Arawi can be worn open or buttoned up and is equally suitable for relaxing at home, working in the office, leisure time or taking a walk on a cool day. The natural shades Dark Taupe, Natural Grey, Natural Anthracite, Camel and Light Taupe are easy to combine with a wide variety of outfits. Our story began long before Abolengo de Alpaca: As a fourth-generation bedding specialist, we have dedicated ourselves to restful sleep and honest, natural materials for decades. For more than 20 years, we have also kept our own herd of around 100 alpacas in the Münsterland region of Germany. Among other things, we produce our own alpaca bedding, socks and many other products. Our range is complemented by carefully selected products from Peru – the native home of the alpaca. We are passionate about alpaca wool because of its natural temperature-regulating properties, softness and durability.
