About Us – The Näsemann Family and Abolengo de Alpaca®

Since 2005, we, the Näsemann family, have been passionately dedicated to alpaca breeding. Our farm is home to around 100 alpacas, whose well-being and health are our highest priority. The South American Andes, the homeland of these fascinating animals, are very important to us. That is why we support social projects in Peru and have met many wonderful people over the years while developing unique products.

Our Philosophy and Values

Our alpacas are not just animals to us – they are part of our family. Through them, we have built friendships and business partnerships around the world that support our breeding. We process the exceptional fleece of our alpacas into high-quality alpaca duvets that create an excellent sleeping climate. To stand out from other suppliers, we use only the finest and cleanest alpaca fleece.

In our farm shop, we offer a wide range of alpaca products. From socks, leg warmers, and bedding to knitting yarn and special accessories – everyone can find something unique. We offer beautiful throws, classic and modern knitwear such as sweaters and cardigans, as well as a large selection of capes. As a small manufactory, we can also produce custom plaids and capes on request.

Abolengo de Alpaca on Langeoog

Since May 2016, we have also been present on the North Sea island of Langeoog. There you will find a wide selection of our products: hats, scarves, gloves, socks, alpaca knitting yarn, and much more. We also offer an exclusive range of high-quality bedding, from mattresses and duvets to neck-support pillows.

DORMA VITA® – Bedding Stores of the Näsemann Family

Sleep supports health, especially in a bed that offers optimal comfort. For four generations, we have produced bedding and mattresses marketed under the brand DORMA VITA®. Our six stores in the Bergisches Land, Ruhr area, and Münsterland offer a wide selection of premium products. We are especially proud of our large showroom in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, where you can discover everything about healthy sleep on 1,500 square meters.

Our Commitment and Expertise

Our eldest son, Robin Näsemann, is a certified AOA alpaca show judge and AZVD e.V. breeding suitability examiner. Since 2006 he has worked for the AZVD and, since 2010, has evaluated and ranked several thousand alpacas at more than 70 shows. “What I love about my work is the variety of different activities. I work with animals and people and truly enjoy the exchange. Respectful interaction is extremely important to me, and I always strive to keep learning.”
