Wonderfully soft alpaca yarn. PREMIUM – very beautiful. One of our thick yarns. Ideal for thick hats, scarves, or your favorite thick knitted pullovers.

Length for 50 g/1.75 oz – 50 meters/55 yards

We recommend a needle thickness of 5-6. The yarn is spun in three threads.

Stitch sample at 10 x 10: 20 rows / 15 stitches

Quality: 100% baby alpaca

For a ladies' sweater size 38, 700 g/1.5 lb is enough.

The premium baby alpaca yarn consists of 100% baby alpaca, and it is spun using the "cable spun" method. In this way, a clear stitch pattern is created from the elegant, thick yarn, which makes your knitting look very even. 
We recommend thick needles with a thickness of 6-8. Due to the high elasticity, you should first take a stitch test. 

Pick your favorite color and choose between undyed natural shades or dreamlike, vegetable-dyed colors. We will gladly advise you! 
 
Tips for proper care: 
Alpaca is self-cleaning. Air your knitwear well and clean it carefully. If your unique piece really needs to be washed, put it in the machine at 30 °C/86 °F in the wool wash cycle. Use wool detergent or baby shampoo. When handwashing, you can use our alpaca soap. After spinning (max. 600 rpm), wrap your garment carefully in a towel and dry it lying down. This way, you will enjoy your alpaca product for a long time and support sustainability.
