Our alpaca pillows are characterized by a very high level of comfort, a pleasant effect, and an excellent sleeping climate. 

The cover of the alpaca pillow is made of a fine 200 nm cotton batiste, and it is quilted with the finest baby alpaca fleece. For the filling of the pillow, you can choose between various materials, depending on your needs. The combination of the finest baby alpaca fleece and the premium cotton cover creates a sensational and very comfortable sleeping environment, no matter what filling you choose.
 

 
Following fillings (firmness) are available: 
 

soft	Organic down and feathers (50% down, 50% feathers), soft lying sensation
soft-medium	100% natural latex sticks: Highly elastic due to the natural latex sticks
medium	50% pure new wool and 50 % natural latex sticks: Greater elasticity and comfort due to natural latex sticks
medium-firm	100% pure new wool: Elastic virgin wool balls provide great and slightly firmer support
firm	100% alpaca fleece: The alpaca fleece is washed, apart from that, it is untreated. The lying sensation is firmer and less elastic. The used alpaca fleece is not baby alpaca quality
very firm	100% Swiss stone pine: Strong support and aromatic effect, less elasticity. Due to our unique Swiss stone pine flakes and the quilted alpaca fleece, yet, more elastic than most of the cushions made of 100 % Swiss stone pine (please select: with Swiss stone pine)

Every pillow can also be ordered with or without added Swiss stone pine. The Swiss stone pine has a calming effect on the cardiovascular system, and it also provides a pleasant aromatic fragrance.
You can also order the pillow together with a bottle of original 10 ml Swiss stone pine oil. By adding a few drops on the filling of the pillow with the added Swiss stone pine, you can reactivate the wonderfully calming scent of Swiss stone pine, time after time.
 

The pillow has a second cotton ticking with a zipper, which contains the specific filling. Thus, you can easily remove the alpaca cover for airing. (the smallest pillow 40x40cm has no extra cotton ticking)
We recommend airing the cover from time to time. Thanks to the beautiful alpaca fleece, moisture is absorbed very well and also released when airing the cover. On request, we can also offer to clean your alpaca pillow in our specific washing machine and dryer for natural hair.

The choice of the best baby alpaca fleece, quilted in the finest cotton batiste, is decisive for special climate regulation. This guarantees a restful sleep. The virgin sheep's wool balls (meticulously tested for harmful substances) have an anti-rheumatic effect, and the pillow can be individually adjusted by the removable filling. 
The alpaca pillow made of 100% virgin wool is an elastic pillow with strong support. Thanks to the second inner cover of the pillow, you can adjust it perfectly to your individual needs at any time. If you wish the pillow to be slightly firmer, it is advisable to keep it filled completely with virgin wool. 
 
If you take out some of the fillings, the pillow will become a bit softer, and then you can also "crumple" the pillow if required. The different filling types of our alpaca pillow should be adapted to the individual needs of each customer. 
 

If you prefer the pillow a bit softer, then our alpaca pillow with virgin sheep's wool and natural latex sticks is the right one for you. The natural latex gives the pillow even more elasticity and softness. You can easily adjust the pillow yourself by making it a little bit fuller or fluffier.

We are now successfully running specialist bedding stores in the fourth generation. Over the decades, we have been able to acquire lots of knowledge, which we incorporated into our alpaca beddings. The best sleep can only be achieved by the best quality. For this reason, we select our materials very carefully. The cover of our alpaca pillow is a 200 nm cotton batiste. This makes it extremely soft and fine. The sheep's wool we use is strictly tested and well-chosen. We purchase the great Swiss stone pine from a small family business in Austria. The natural latex is, just like our natural latex mattresses, which we sell in our bed stores "Dorma Vita", from selected rubber plantations, known for their excellent working conditions and particularly good quality. The alpaca fleece we are using for our bedding mainly comes from our own herd of about 100 alpacas. For our alpaca pillows and duvets, we only use baby alpaca quality. This is an exceptionally fine alpaca fleece with a micron value of less than 22.5 (thickness of the hair). The temperature-regulating properties of this fine fleece are significantly better than those of regular alpaca fleece. However, this does not imply that the fleece comes from alpaca babies. It merely means that the animals having a particularly fine fleece.
 
We have been breeding with selected animals for many years to increase our quality even further.
